Fanglei LIU

Date of Birth: November 17, 1991
Nationality: Chinese

Fanglei started playing the violin aged six with her first teacher Qingbo He. She is currently studying with Ming’en Zhou at the Music Middle School associated with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Fanglei has won 1st Prize at the Talented Tennagers in the East Competition (2005), 3rd Prize at the Mingjia Violin Competition (2003) and 4th Prize at the CCTV National Violin and Piano Competition (2008). She has taken masterclasses with internationally acclaimed musicians and teachers and performed throughout China. In the 2008 and 2009 season she was invited as concertmaster to the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Germany.
