Emma is studying at the Carnegie Mellon University with Cyrus Forough. She has won awards at a number of competitions in the US and was a finalist in the Johansen International Competition for Young String Players in Washington DC (2006). She also received a study grant at the Pablo Sarasate International Violin Competition (2009). She has much chamber music and orchestra experience and has performed with the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic, the Northwest Symphony Orchestra, Camerata Chicago and others. Emma has also appeared in a number radio and TV programmes including the PBS show “From the Top at Carnegie Hall”.
