Nigel is studying at the Colburn School in Los Angeles with Robert Lipsett. He has won several prizes at national competitions including 1st Prize at the concert competitions of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and the Downey Symphony Orchestra. He regularly takes part in summer festivals and courses. As a soloist he has performed with the Reno Symphony, the Berkeley Symphony Orchestra, the American Philharmonic of Sonomo County and the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra. Nigel is currently concertmaster of the Colburn Orchestra and the American Youth Symphony.
