Stephen is studying with Li Lin and Alexander Barantschik at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He has won 1st Prize at a number of US music competitions and was winner of the KDFC Classical Star Search Competition (2009). Stephen regularly performs solo with orchestras, giving recitals and playing chamber music. He recently performed at “From the Top” with pianist Christopher O’Riley, Maestro Spivakov’s festival in Moscow, Carnegie Hall and Festival del Sole in Napa. Solo performances with orchestra include the Saratoga and the Silicon Valley Symphony, the Diablo Symphony Orchestra and the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra. Stephen also studies piano and composition.
