Michael is studying with Carol Cole at Lynn University in Florida and Gerardo Ribeiro at Northwestern University in Chicago. Last December, he gave his solo recital debut at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in Palm Beach, Florida. He recently performed as soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Barbican in London. He has appeared on television on the Oprah Winfrey Show and in a British documentary where he is featured as one of the world's outstanding young musicians. Michael has attended Meadowmount School of Music and the String Academy at the Indiana University Jacob School of Music. He has been Florida Federation State Winner in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008. He was also granted the Irene Muir Award in 2008.
