Kevin ZHENG

Nationality: American

Kevin studied with Greg Logan, Xi Yang and Richard Luby before being accepted into the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2008 where he currently studies with Kevin Lawrence. He has won the Chapel Hill Philharmonic Concerto Competition (2006), the Durham Symphony Concerto Competition (2008) and the Peter Perret Youth Talent Search (2009). Kevin has participated in masterclasses with international artists including Dmitry Sitkovetsky and the Orion Quartet. He has regularly performed in concert with the Triangle Youth Orchestra, Symphony and Philharmonic and aged 14 gave his debut performance of Lalo’s Symphonie Espangnole with the Winston-Salem Symphony.
