Ann Hou is studying in Trondheim with Bjarne Fiskum, Marianne Thorsen and Stephan Barratt-Due. She has won 1st Prizes at the UMM competition in Norway, the Audience Prize at the Young Talent Concert in Bergen (2009) and 3rd Prize and “Greatest Artistic Potential Award” at the International Henryk Wieniawski Violin Competition in Lublin (2009). Ann Hou has attended Valdres Sommersymfoni, Margess International and Astona International in Switzerland, Musica Mundi in Belgium and the Trondheim International Chamber Music Festival. She has performed with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra and the Norwegian Youth Symphony Orchestra.
