Everyone who studies or take examinations at the Norwegian Academy of Music must pay a semester fee at the beginning of each semester. The semester fee is a statutory requirement and is paid in full to the Foundations of Student Life in Oslo (SiO).
All new students will be sent an invoice for the semester fee before the first semester. During subsequent semesters, the semester fee will only be found on Studentweb under the menu item "Payment". The fee is usually made available late on in the previous semester. The student is responsible for checking Studentweb for new semester fees.
In 2008 the semester fee is NOK 440,-.
The semester fee must be paid by the following dates:
- Autumn semester: 10th September.
- Spring semester: 25th January.
Failure to pay the semester fee will result in termination of student privileges.
