Semester registration

Once the semester fee is paid, students must register for the semester. Please note that it normally takes 3-4 days after the semester fee is paid until the payment is registered in the Academy's systems. Semester registration is not available until after the payment is registered.

Follow the menu item "Registrations" on Studentweb to commence semester registration.

As part of the semester registration, a student must confirm his/her individual Education Plan. The education plan contains the courses you will be following and taking examinations in during the coming semesters. In addition, the student must provide information about his/her semester address and current contact information, as well as fill out any acceptance forms required by the Academy.

Registration must be completed by 15 September in the autumn semester and 1 February in the spring semester.

Active student status will be conferred on the student once the semester fee is paid and registration is completed. Active student status is a prerequisite for the following:

  • admission to the Academy's premises
  • access to the Academy's computer network and IT services
  • the opportunity to receive tuition and take examinations
  • access to the Academy's library services
  • welfare services from The Foundation of Student Life in Oslo (SiO)
  • student discounts

In addition, students receiving grants or loans from the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund will receive grants or loans only when semester registration is completed.
