The bachelor’s degree programmes at the Norwegian Academy of Music are four year undergraduate/first cycle degree programmes in accordance with the common European Bologna Process:
The bachelor’s degree programmes are divided in two parts, each of 2 years duration. With the exception of instrumental classes where tuition can be in English, all tuition is in Norwegian in the 1st part of all programmes.
Applicants with two years of higher music education at the Academy level can apply directly to the 2nd part (from year three) of all bachelor’s programmes, with the exception of the Music Teacher Education Programme and the Conducting Programme.
For the following 2nd part programmes all tuition can be in English:

Auditions at the Academy.

Diplomas/transcripts for education completed in spring 2011 must be forwarded to the Academy.
