This programme is for applicants wishing to specialize in church music. Admission requires a Bachelor's Degree in Church Music with 80 ECTS credits in performance. Tuition is in Norwegian.
Audition
The application should include the following documents:
- a proposed auditon programme of 45 minutes duration. The programme must include at least one work by Bach of a high degree of difficulty, i.e. Fantasy and Fugue in G minor.
- a repertoire list for main instrument illustrating that the applicant has studied works amounting to a performance time of at least 240 minutes.
- a summary of the works that the applicant has conducted, and with which choirs.
- a video showing the applicant conducting a concert or a rehearsal with one or more choral works. The video must have a duration of 20-30 minutes, and the applicant must be featured in the film.
- approximately 1 week before the audition the applicant will be sent an assigment in liturgical organ-playing.
At the audtion the applicant must
- play 25 minutes of her/his proposed audition programme, chosen by the jury.
- be tested in liturgical organ-playing
- attend an interview with the jury on the basis of his/her application and plans for his/her course of study.
