Finding somewhere to live will probably be at the top of your priorities once you have decided to study in Oslo.
As a student at the Norwegian Academy of Music you can find reasonably-priced student accommodation in all sizes and different rental price brackets, through SiO (the Foundation for Student Life in Oslo).
SiO's student accommodation is spread throughout Oslo, and ranges from studio accommodation to large family flats. Prices start from around NOK 2,000 per month. Rent includes electricity, hot water, cable tv, internet and caretaker services.
You should start looking for a flat as soon as possible, as student accommodation is very popular! The earlier you apply, the better choice you will have.
