The Students' Committee

The Students' Committee ("SUT" or "Studentutvalget") is a separate body that represents the interests of students at the Academy of Music.

The student representatives are there to assist you when you need advice or help "from one student to another". They are the students' voice in everyday administrative activities at the Academy; they have representatives on the Board of Governors and on other councils and committees at the Academy, as well as in the Norwegian Students' Union. SUT always has a say when major decisions are taken!

SUT is also responsible for organising parties and other social events for students, and for promoting a pleasant social environment at the Academy.

SUT plays an important administrative role for you as a student, too: you collect your practice card from them, and you can also secure an instrument locker through SUT (in exchange for a deposit).

SUT is always in need of new members and welcomes people with opinions and energy!

SUT's office is on floor 3 in Building 1 (1. hus), just before you reach the bridge to Building 2.
