The academic year starts on Monday 17 August with two weeks of induction. The first week, from 17 to 21 August, is obligatory for all new undergraduate students but is also open for other students. The second week, 24–28 August, is only for new first-year undergraduate students. All parts of the programme for undergraduate students will be held in Norwegian.
On Friday 21 August there will be a special induction day for postgraduates and students on further education courses in English
Programme - Induction weeks 2008
On Thursday 20 August at 1400 hrs there will be a reception for incoming exchange students. Regular degree students who have just arrived in Norway and don't speak Norwegian, are welcome to attend.
