After our first successful conference in March this year we are happy to announce the next conference in March 2012: Monday 12 - Wednesday 14. The conference will be held at the same place - Olavsgården outside of Oslo.
The theme of the next conference will be "Music, Emotion and Health" - and our main speakers will be Patrik Juslin, Raymond MacDonald, Gary Ansdell and Hallgjerd Aksnes. They are all outstanding researchers in music psychology, music therapy, musicology and music and health.

Invitation for participation
We hereby invite all members of the network to apply for participation. The condition will be the same as last time - free tickets and hotel - all paid by the Nordic Research Foundation. However, we can not guarantee that all participants from this year's conference automatically can be invited again. We can invite about 30-35 participants - that is about 4-5 from each Nordic country and from different research groups. We can, however, consider inviting a few extra researchers who are willing to pay for the expenses, that is NOK 5000 + travel expenses. You may have this in mind when you are planning your research spending for 2012.
Call for papers
We will select up to 5 projects to be presented and discussed at the conference. In your application we will need the following:
1. A short description of your Ph.D-/research project (1-2 pages)
2. Possible relevance for the topic of the conference (Music, Emotion and Health)
3. A list of publications in 2010 and 2011 (to be published on our website)
