The purpose of the Nordic Network is to
- initiate and promote research in the field of music,culture and health
- encourage interdisciplinary cooperation and research
- work actively to influence funding authorities to establish programs for research in the area of music, culture and health - both nationally, in the nordic countries and in the EU
- to cooperate in the elaboration of new research project by giving mutual assistance and promote cooperation in research projects
- discuss research questions, theories and methodologies relevant to research in the area of music, culture and health
- stimulate dissemination of knowledge in the area
